  • Generics: Generics bloat: Motor<StatorWinding, StatorCore, RotorWinding, RotorCore, RotorMagnet> … -> Every function which takes a motor would need to be completely generic
  • Enum: a) Not user-extensible. b) Adding a new wire type would be a breaking change
